 BBC can confirm that the United Kingdom will take part in NVSC 18. Our artist will be selected once again via our national selection "In It To Win It". The Second edition will be held this season in Manchester, at the Machester Arena.
 To get things kicking off, here are the first 10 artist who will competing in the national selection this edition:

 .png) CYPRUS TO BE PRESENT AT NVSC #18!In a meeting among the delegation team, it was decided that  Cyprus will be present at the next edition of the Northvision Song Contest.
Our HoD, Mr. Apostolis Andreou, has stated the following:
 We had no reason to withdraw. There is a huge interest on the island plus we are safe from the pre-qualification round as we were there this edition. 
When asked about how will the entry will be selected he stated:
We have already decided on a national selection. Northvision Song Project will return, with only 3 acts fighting for the victory this time, unless we receive a late request to join from an established singer. If we do receive one, we will have to decide between an internal selection, or a gold final between the actual winner of NVSP and the established singer. More to come soon.
The announcement of the acts is planned to start tomorrow.
Anyway, we'd like to wish our current representative, Stefanos Dimosthenous the best of luck and may he bring our nation to the final!

 The Armenian broadcaster AMRTV has confirmed the  Armenian participation on the eighteenth edition of the North Vision Song Contest!Armenia has decided to bring back North Evradesil. The selection will have some little changes.

Just to have said that (might write it different once)  Israel officially confirms it's return to Nvsc. More information regarding the selecting process of the entries is coming at a later point. |

 No decision yet for  Croatia.
Rumours in Croatia today have stated that HRT has confirmed for the 18th edition of the North Vision Song Contest shortly after the first semi final recap was uploaded. However, this was not the case. The HoD spoke today at a meeting that a confirmation is very likely but would rather wait until the results of semi final 1 before making a formal decision. The main objective of the meeting was to decide where Croatia stood in terms of #18. Among the possibilities, financial difficulties may just hinder a Croatian participation in the 18th edition, something that the HoD does not want happening. The HoD stated that: "North Vision is a priority and we would not like to let financial difficulties disturb that.. North Vision has become very popular in our country ever since the HoD change in Summer 2014. We're committed to continue participating, however our budget at the moment is not determined."But the other possibilities were a NS and an internal selection, something that will most definitely happen.If the country will take part in #18, unless a sponsor is found, an internal selection will be held for the first time since #15!   RTSH confirms the albanian participation in the 18th edition! After the HoD scandal in the 17th edition, RTSH can confirm that Albania will be appearing in the next edition!RTSH can already confirm that a national selection will be held to select the representive for the 18th edition.The name of the selection being: (Albanian Song Competition #1)You can find more information about the selection HERE |

 Andorra is unsure about their participation in the 18th edition of North Vision Song Contest.
Due to the recent low positions in Finals, Semi-Finals and Betting Odds, RTVA is trying to find new ways to bring back Andorra to the top of the scoreboard like seven years ago.
More information about the country's participation in the contest will be revealed after the results of the Semi-Final where Andorra is expected to end in the PQR. |
