 Poland confirms participation in NVSC #22 !
Polish Top Of The Top #12 will take place !
The number of participants will be determined after the results of NVSC #21.
There are still talks with artists who'd like to participate.
We will keep you update but more news coming after Grand Final Results!

  BULGARIA WILL PARTICIPATE!
After last night's amazing result which ultimately brings the contest to Bulgaria, the national broadcaster BNT (Българска национална телевизия) has confirmed that Bulgaria will participate in the 22nd edition, despite earlier concerns of a withdrawal.
The HoD was meant to change for another country this edition, but after the victory he decided that he would manage Bulgaria one more time.
The delegation and DARA were met in Sofia this morning with a hero's welcome, by many fans and the press. Of course, both the head of delegation and DARA had something to say to the press;
"I am so proud today to be Bulgarian. This is a truly amazing feeling and I am so glad that I brought the contest to Bulgaria. From me, I love you Europe and I want to see all of you in Bulgaria for the next contest!"
The HoD confirmed that the participation rumours were true, and answered further questions.
"After last night's result I can confirm that we are staying obviously for the 22nd edition, and so am I. I am so happy and proud of DARA for this amazing feat; and also looking forward to the contest to be held in Bulgaria.
..as for further information, I cannot give too much as BNT and the NBU are yet to start discussions on hosting duties. But due to this, again we will select internally."
Further information about hosting is not known yet. BNT and the NBU are likely to start discussing this in February, and more will be revealed then. However BNT has confirmed that, without a doubt, the contest will be hosted in Bulgaria.
As for the Bulgarian participant, due to hosting duties the act and song will be selected internally, and will likely be known in early March.

 Latvia will take part in the upcoming edition !
After not giving information for a long time, and despite the terrible last place in the Final of NVSC #21,
LTV has decided to take another chance by confirming for the upcoming edition in Bulgaria.
Because of budget cuts and technical issues, the entry should rather be selected though an internal selection this time.
More information will come in the following days. |
