NTU (Pershyi Natsionalnyi) confirms Ukraine's participation for the twenty-second edition of the North Vision Song Contest. The Ukrainian Head of Delegation, Liev Artovsky, has this to say: Well I wish I could say this one more time but I'm afraid all good things come to an end and apparently the end has come for me in NVSC. The main reason of my withdrawal was how unhealthy the environment of the contest has become in the past editions as well as the whole forums generally speaking, which I have openly expressed with the NBU Council and to which I believe they continuously put out all efforts to eradicate such 'issues'. It wasn't as 'fun' for me as it was before. Just last night, I was silently observing the chat exchange in TogetherTube while watching the whole results to find out that there are still some 'unhealthy' people who could not understand the word 'respect' or 'shut up when you have nothing nice to say' and to be honest piss off #sorrynotsorry. Also, I am very busy fucking Arab guys I mean working on varying schedules. Needless to say, I must go and live my life and focus more on what's around me, not only to what I can see and hear on my computer. It has been a wonderful, emotional and awesome 21 editions. I am truly honored and proud of heading my beloved Eastern European country and I want to take this time to thank everyone who has given my dear Ukrainian entries points and utmost support. I know I have been both a good and bad HoD of Ukraine as you saw its rise and fall and rise again but I'm still happy with all of my results because I know I have sent all of the entries I like without any regrets, not as realistic as it is on the Eurovision Song Contest but it's worthwhile for me at least. Now I know you are all happy that finally Ukraine is up for grabs. Well you are all wrong as I have chosen someone whom I think and know would take good care of my baby in NVSC. He has been very patient, loves most of the Russian and Ukrainian music as I do and hey he's partly Ukrainian. He is no other than the current Georgian Head of Delegation, Anton . I have nothing else to say to you as I've already told you everything in private. Just enjoy being the new Ukrainian Head of Delegation and congratulations! Also, I know I'm supposed to post this one on the Random Discussion page but I'd rather put it all on one post so here goes... Dimitris - I've told you this a million times and I'm gonna tell it to you again. Thank you for introducing me to the magical world of the OVSC forums. If it wasn't for you, I would have not been a part of an awesome Eurovision and Eurovision-based online community. Jan - Thank you for bottoming for me for the last 3 years and 3 months. I hope Ukraine and Sweden in the NVSC #21 results would not be the last time you'd bottom for me. Seriously though, thanks for all of the great Swedish songs and basically songs from all over the world and the Fantasifestivalen production. When I come to Germany... Hint: Tim Schou. 12 points. Eurovision Song Contest 2011. Mandy Huydts. Jess - Thank you for being one of those genuine friends I've had on here. I know we have not talked for a while and I think I have caused you nothing but annoyance. Still I have felt your genuine personality. Say hi to your sister Hannah for me. Daniel - The future chancellor of German gaming and animation. Thank you for our good chats, some TogetherTubes and all the help. Vaios - My Greek bro. One of the few supporters of my first ever online song contest. Thank you and stay awesome. Rick - Mr. Rick, the Estonian epitome of cuteness. Thank you for standing up for me when I was bullied in my online song contest. I would never forget that. Oh and remember our Kik conversations? OMG! Kerem - Kardeşim, you were one of the few who consecutively supported and contributed to Ukraine's successes in NVSC. Thank you. Turkey is one of my favorite countries in NVSC in terms of the entries and NF songs. @garameaning - Well we've had a love-hate relationship but all I can say is that Ukraine is always better than Moldova just like their NVSC Heads of Delegations. Sel - You were one of the few who kept talking to me just to chat and not just to ask me to vote or whatever people wants from me. I really appreciate that. You will always be my lil' bro. Thank you! Blandine - Thanks for poking me? Anyway, good luck on your career attorney. We will meet in 2018, remember that. Dmitry - Moy brat. Spasibo tebe za vsyo. Some notable people I would also like to give thanks to and virtually hug (I wish it would be personal but I can't buy plane tickets for you all ): lazarkoo Phil 𝐴𝑑𝑟𝑖𝑎̀ Logan 𝖋𝖑𝖔𝖗𝖎𝖆𝖓 Mateusz Eke Aless Christian NO (inactive) Talitha Hyunzales George ESCIliasMANL (Inactive) myskin Christian AT @douzepointa How Bogs How Blue ClassifiedCat @thesirenscalling Ser Pounce Luiri Aleks Džehverović Anesović Domantas Matt Asi Apostolis James @hvdstrcbcbr For my 4 years, 4 months and 13 days (PST) here on the forums and more. Cheers! P.S. I would still like to be on the know with the latest NS and stuff on NVSC so please don't remove me from the tag list. Thanks.

GPB is officially withdrawing from the 22nd edition of the North Vision Song Contest. The non-qualification of Nina and her song "I've Got An Idea" has been stated as one reason as well as the participation in the Pre-Qualification Round of the upcoming edition.
Along with the withdrawal, the HoD Antone Gomerishvili has confirmed that he will leave the Georgian delegation and that a new one which will be chosen someday will take over the country in the future.
At this point, I would like to make a flashback to my time as Georgian HoD:
Beginning with the message of Jan telling me that I could finally join NVSC in #10 with Georgia: I was both really happy and a bit skeptical. On the one hand, I was amazed by the fact that I could finally be a part of the biggest contest here on the forums, back then the waiting list had only 10 or 15 people, so I was not supposed to wait long for a country. In #9, the incident with the cheating vaneedas happened, which gave 4 people of the waiting list the possibility to join with 4 countries being Croatia, Morocco, Montenegro and finally Georgia. Well, but on the other hand, it was the very first time I got Georgia in a song contest ever, so obviously I knew nothing about its music industry and therefore was dependent of suggestions (thank god many people suggested me quite a few songs). That's how my "career" started! The first editions were really hard and almost got me depressed about my country. 4 non-qualifications (with one time almost getting into the PQR) are not a great start in the contest, looking on the ones who started like me in #10 with other countries (see above). Especially the failure with Yaseniya (#11, 13th in the SF) made me thinking about my song choices. But the first great experience came in #14 when I made my first internal selection, selecting Rati with "Paper Boat". After getting the first positive reactions (which was the case in some editions before as well), I didn't want to feel so confident because of the incidents before (for example Yaseniya). However when I finally made it into the final and got the 13th place, I finally felt again confident and enthusiastic about the contest and my participation there. The following edition with Nina Sublatti and "Fall Out Law" was maybe not as successful as with Rati, but I still made it into the final, and with a country like Georgia, it's the only thing that counts. But when you are relatively successful in the contest, there has to come the time when you fail just too hard. And that was the case in #17: First getting into the PQR, then selecting a really hopeful song, I felt confident about getting out of the PQR with Mariam Chachkhiani and "Gibberish". The results made me feel depressed: A tie between the 5th, 6th and 7th place (each with 56 points), while the first 5 entries are qualifying to the contest. Finally I got 7th out of 8 in the PQR, and the feeling if you get such a low place with the maybe only really outstanding song Georgia has to offer... yeah you can imagine... After that fail, the following editions weren't very interesting for me. The only great edition left in my "career" was #20with Cici and "Unarmed". Organizing a great NS with 24 songs in it, I just had the goal to get into the final for one more time. And that was the case: Getting 12th and therefore beating my personal record was again such an awesome experience. Again thank you all for that! And now, after 12 editions with Georgia, my wish of getting a better country finally got true. Not even thinking about getting Ukraine sometime, I actually planned to swap with Egypt and Bas back then. That swap was cancelled in the end because yeah, Liev offered me his country because of his withdrawal (again good luck with everything, I still wish you a great time and I will try to make you proud and to not let Ukraine down). I would like to thank everyone who made my time with Georgia so good and who motivated me in some moments of doubt and depression! Thank you as well to the NBU council who are doing an awesome job with organizing each edition and always working on the design getting better and better each time! You are awesome! A little message to my successor: Georgia might be a challenging and hard country, but it's possible to get good results! Always keep your head up! If you wish, I can send you my playlist with still +200 Georgian songs.
Following the withdrawal of the flageorgia Georgian HoD from his country, it was announced that Antoniy Gomerenko will now take over Ukraine from #22 on.
As it was already announced from the former HoD, NTU and Ukraine is of course confirming its participation in the next edition. Ukraine and the NVSC delegation is proud of The Hardkiss getting into the Top 6 of all entries in Prague and therefore saving a spot in the Grand Final of the next edition already.
There are discussion about continuing the National Selection series, more infomation will come later!
