The  Dutch delegation decided to join the boycott by the  Austrian delegation, because of dissatisfaction with various rule changes made in the recent past, including the introduction of continental semi finals and the enlargement of the contest in general.   Austria confirms their participation!
Following the announcement of the removal of the continental
system, ORF can now confirm that Austria will be present in the
forthcoming edition of IMF. However, the delegation stated that
due to the unsatisfactory #37 result, a NS may never be used again.

After serious discussions with the former HoDs of  Moldova, Elena and Olesea Croitoru, it was decided that Moldova will not withdraw and that Elena and Olesea Croitoru would become again the official HoDs of  Moldova, according to www.infotag.md! |

 Iceland confirms for the 38th edition of the International Music Festival !The HOD Rethnas Guðmundsson revealed today on twitter that Iceland will participate in the next edition of IMF, he also added in a next tweet Iceland will hold a small national selection with 5 songs !
