 The  TRLK is ready to reveal the singer's name.Today, through a press conference about the programmation on the TRLK Channels during the period of
June to September 2017 and as announced two weeks earlier, the name of the singer
representing Lakadamia was going to be announced on the 10th of May, and eh,
we are on the 10 May so...
We are ready to reveal the name of the singer representing the country in  FC #8, which is... LOÏC NOTTET
Loïc Nottet is a 21yo singer born in the city of Şarleroiy, on the territory of Manto du Nord,
Musically talking, the singer is kind of new on the arena,
but he's known on the stage since 2014, when he won The Voice Lakadamia.
Then in 2015, he represented his territory onto a Lakadamian music festival,
where he got the 4th place with his song Rhythm Inside.
Also, at the end of the year, he won it's second show, the local Danse avec les Stars,
with a record of 68% given by the voters during the final vote.
And then in 2016 he announced that he was going to released his first album Selfocracy,
which comes out at the 31st of March, and as of now, his album and
some of his songs are leading the Lakadamian charts.
Concerning his entry, it was confirmed that his entry was selected internally,
and that it will be revealed in June. Also, the song is in Engju.Do anything but Million Eyes are you SERIOUSLY THINKING the council would have approved Million Eyes ? |

 Artist reveal!
After a couple..... weeks of waiting, Alkyrians tried to solve the riddle of "who is going to represent Alkyria in Fantasia Contest #8" which the broadcaster has implemented once with the confirmation in the 8th edition.
Some speculations have hinted to a returning act, a foreign act or even another act from the Assenty Islets and Twattir in Alkyria quite made its own predictions regarding the possible artist, the number 1 trending was #QoldaAlkaliePradyker8 (kallitian translation of it being "who's going for Alkyria in 8") where many mentioned certain artists they considered to go for it.
Among them, the most mentioned hints regarding a possible return in the contest were  Holychild & Transviolet, even if none of the sides confirmed a possible return just yet.
However, HGP finally revealed the artist this afternoon, which proved out to be none of the main 2 rumoured representatives considered by Alkyrians.
So, ladies and gentlemen, please welcome:
 Contessa!  Contessa (also known under her real name, Polina Goudieva or simple as Polina) is an Alkyrian-native Atlandian-based artist which is notable for being one of the best-selling artists of Alkyria up to date.
Born in the city of Apella, Contessa has been vividly close to nature and its surroundings, mentioning that she often got inspired by the nature in her musical career. Starting to develop her musical abilities at a young age, she eventually made a solid music career outside her native country,
her most notable song being "Book Of Love" alongside Felix Jaehn, which ended up charting in many countries and receiving multiple awards in Alkyria, as well as "Little Babylon" which reached platinum in her native country.
Polina is often called "Alkyria's musical chameleon" due to the fact that she experiments with many types of music, ranging from dance to EDM and even alternative music, with various name changes throughout the time.
The new acronym she comes up for, that being Contessa, showcases her alternative side of her music, being mainly inspired by Atlandia's old, baroque style and combining them with Alkyria's historical artwork & renaissance styles to form a modern twist between two separate artstyles from two different countries which she considers home.
She previously competed in Atlandia's national selection last edition, ending 3rd overall, and she gladly accepted the internal selection request from the Alkyrian broadcaster soon after the selection was over.
Her entry will be chosen internally, so stay tuned! ^^ |

 The Golden Land confirms participation for the 8th edition of the Fantasia Contest!
The Head of Delegation Manos Marakis said in a recent interview: "The Golden Land hasn't been so Golden in the last 4 editions of the Fantasia Contest, we know. But we promise that in the 8th edition we are really gonna step up our game. The singer and the song we have chosen sound really good and will probably be liked by the Fantasia World and we're really proud of it. We really hope we qualify in the final after 4 editions. We're trying our best and we will keep trying until we see the final again. The song has been sent for approval and we're really hoping that it will be fully approved and liked by the public and the juries."

HARISH REPRESENTATIVE REVEALEDNow after results of Fantasia Contest #07 we can reveal, that the duo that will represent Harish Islandsin Beklium at FC #08 is.. SMITH & THELL! Smith & Thell are a folk-pop duo that rose to fame on our little islands thanks to winning H-Factor in 2014. Then, they released a song called "Row" that went to charts in Demacia and Equaland, and obviously in Harish Islands. Then, they also released 2 singles from an album, which got released on 12 May 2017 - "Soulprints".
Now, they are going to compete in Fantasia Contest. Their song will be chosen via a national selection called A Song For Smith & Thell. Stay tuned!
