MARSIA WILL COMPETE IN DANSKANKSOVADespite being unable to qualify twice in a row, MTN has officially confirmed that  Marsia will be present in th 9th edition of Fantasia Contest in Danskanksova. The artist hasn't been chosen or announced yet but rumor has it MTN will give more space to the other languages spoken in the country, after two entries in Engju. This could be probably due to  Jenni Vartiainen's victory, a celebrity in Marsia too, especially in the Fennju speaking part of the country (Suosseёmaӓ). |

 Vradiazi confirms participation in Fantasia Contest #09!
As usual, VRIT will host the VRADIFEST in order to choose the Vradi entry for Fantasia Contest #09 in Danskanksova. From this edition on, the national selection will be revamped with a few changes, especially the introduction of an international jury.

 CONFIRMATIONSParticipationAs expected, DURT confirmed the participation of the nation at the upcoming edition of Fantasia Contest, stating that another edition of "BLEND" will be used to determine the entrant. However, the format may suffer some changes, as the HoD has stated. There are already plenty of artists who showed interest in participating, for example Angel Olsen, who took 2nd place at the last NF, Perfume Genius, Azealia Banks, Hurts and even big names like Florence + the Machine and, the winner-herself, Jenni VartiainenThe ShowThe HoD has believes that Danskanksova can host the biggest and best show that Fantasia has ever seen. The budget is huge, estimated at the moment at 200 million, with the possibility of it growing to 250-260 million. "We are ready to give Fantasia the best experience. Our country has a long and lasting tradition of hosting festivals, concerts and competitions, and I am most assured that we can deliver the best." Many arenas and concert halls have expressed their interest in hosting the 9th edition, with the favourites of the public being Nažionälaräna (100.000) in Burg Bognovi (the capital city) and Aräna dän Söndje (85000-90000) in Söndje (an artificial city created in 2010 especially for festivals and Melchouðfësvøl, the national song competition. It is located in proximity to Könd Airport. It contains restaurants, hotels, luxurious shopping centers, parks and the main attraction, the arena). The HoD has made no statement whatsoever regarding the host city/location, nor the theme art. A statement is expected to be released this week. |
