Kadie Elder will represent Beklium with their song First Time He Kissed a Boy, a song with a very special message to everyone: Be yourself no matter what other people say or think about you !  timeslot: 2:13 -
Yeah I chose this song beacause I recently came out here on the forums and in my real life  it perfectly represents the way I felt for a very long time  But now I feel so much better as I finally can be just me !

Anna Tsuchiya confirmed as the Alkyrian representative!
Ever since the confirmation rumours, the Alkyrian fandom was waiting for any kind of official news regarding the representative. With their own possible ideas about who might represent the republic, their curiosity was eventually cleared after HGP mentioned this morning the name of the artist which will wave the Alkyrian flag in Danskanksova, none of them matching their guessing.
Alkyrians can't into guessing correctly le lol 
Anna Tsuchiya is a 33 year-old model, actress and singer, born in Xelya. Ever since she was a young child, she was genuinely interested in music and acting, while her older sister eventually introduced her into the modelling world as well, travelling often to nations like  Lakadamia and Jarea in order to maintain her career in music and acting. She eventually rose to fame in Alkyria after she released the singles "Cocoon" and "Guilty", which charted fairly high at that time, and she's planning to return back after a little hiatus in the Alkyrian music industry.
She's mainly singing in Engju and Jaranese (considering the Jaranese community is fairly tiny, she's also among the few singers hailing from a minority language and culture in her native Alkyria) and she's often dubbed as "Alkyria's musical chameleon" due to changing her musical genres pretty often.
"To be honest, I didn't knew what to expect after the message and all that. I'm grateful by the fact that I'm going to represent my native country in a big event like Fantasia Contest is. I'd like to thank everyone for your support and we're working as much as we can to deliver a good song and performance in Danskanksova."

 Vamislava, Maronesia - The Maronesian Broadcaster (NovaTV) announced on 20th of July 2017, that they were preparing for a national final for the next edition of the contest, thus confirming their provisional intent to participate at Fantasia Contest #09. However, on 6th August 2017 NovaTV was shut down after the final broadcast of their regular nightly news programme. As a consequence, all regular programming on television and radio were discontinued, with the television stations of the NovaTV displaying an informational slide and the radio stations playing music. The third semi-final and final of the Fantasia Contest #08 were the last programmes transmitted by Nova TV. However, none of the new broadcasting corporations, Rozhlas a televízia Maronežka (RTVM; for the maronesian-speaking audience) and Maryleisradio (maryle; for the crystallian-speaking audience) are members of the FBA, which is a requirement to participate in the Song Contest. However, marlye is expected to apply for FBA membership by the end of the week and if accepted, Maronesia will continue to participate. On 24th of July 2017, maryle applied to join the Fantasia Broadcasting Association. The application process is expected to be completed in the end of the August, which may not allow Maronesia to have enough time to prepare an entry. Based on this, maryle and the FBA signed a temporary agreement that will allow Maronesian participation in Danskanksova. |
