He also stated that there will be 4 hosts - 3 for the main shows and one for the Green Room, promising it to be the most diverse group of hosts ever in the history of the contest. Moreover, the slogan has also been chosen and experts are currently working on the theme art. But now, let's hear from the cities!BURG BOGNOVIBurg Bognovi is the capital of  Danskanksova. The city council has made it quite clear that, should Burg Bognovi be chosen, the show will be hosted in the biggest arena in Fantasia, that is Nažionälaräna. With the capacity of 100.000 people, the arena hosts mainly sport events and huge concerts. It has hosted only some festivals, far and few inbetween. However, the Danskanks are totally sure that the capital city is able to put up a great show, even tough it would be significantly harder in such an arena, having to build the scene from nothing.SÖNDJESöndje is an artificial city created in 2010 especially for festivals and Melchouðfësvøl, the national song competition. It is located in proximity to Könd Airport. Despite it being quite new to the map, the city can offer a wide range of restaurants, hotels, luxurious shopping centers, parks. The shows would be hosted in Aräna dän Söndje (85.000-90.000), which is no stranger to festivals. The "BLEND" shows, together with the revelation of the results, as well as Melchouðfësvøl and other festivals (Untold, Electric, etc.) are all hosted here. However, the city does not fully reflect the Danskanks spirit, due to it being unpopulated for periods of months. Whatsoever, the city can be revived in extremely short time, filling the streets with joy and festival atmosphere.DAN SÄÄTDespite it being only the 5th biggest city, Dan Säät promises an one-of-a-kind experince. Due to it being the city where Jenni Vartiainen was born, the city council has decided to make an offer to DURT. It has promised to build the "Vartiainen" Arena in honour of the local hero and winner of the 8th FC. The capacity is expected to be between 10.000 and 15.000. TUSAUN – After a guest appearance and interview from Glaray's Head of Delegation, Aaron Castagnoli, and his counterpart Melina Shkurta on television show Buongiorno! this morning, Castagnoli commented on the country’s current status regarding the Fantasia Contest and whether it will return next edition.
“Right now? It’s very unlikely. This time of the year is always the busiest for the broadcaster and the introduction of new programming usually never occurs during this time period.” He also went on to comment that the broadcaster has lost confidence in the contest and is hesitant to fund it, as unsuccessful results in the contest have meant viewership is low.
Due to these circumstances, the consultation on a possible entry has not been discussed or thought of whatsoever.
On the other hand, Katy Perry, who released her latest album Witness in June, has publicly expressed her desire to participate in the contest. Perry, whose latest album and two of its singles (“Chained to the Rhythm” and “Swish Swish”), have hit number one (of which the latter currently holds) has said she “wants to go” and believes she has what it takes to get Glaray to qualify once again. |
