 Update from Lakadamia.After the 8th place of Charlotte in the Grand Final of the 11th Fantasia Contest, the TRLK can confirm
that the Lakadamia Music Festival will be back for it's 8th edition as national selection for FC.  Logo of LMF #12The amount of singers is expected to be as usual, 11, yet the broadcaster has some plans to extend it to eventually 15 to 16 entries, seeing the amount of songs recently released in the Lakadamian music industry. With that, the broadcaster confirmed that all the entries will be once more in the Frajisian language. The selection is expected to start soon, due to a busy schedule from the TRLK. |

 DÝRIAN ACT HAS BEEN FOUND
After a respectable 21st place for Greta Isaac in  Fordia, she has since arrived home with the delegation, arriving into Dyflinnjaborg airport this morning. Speaking with DRTV today, she announced that;
Fantasia was one of the best things to ever happen to me and possibly the best thing to happen to my career. Although Dýria didn't manage to break into the top 20, I can't be disappointed about it - and neither are the fans here.. they love Fantasia regardless of our result. To take part in Fantasia is a huge opportunity that not everyone will get in their lives, so I'm grateful for DRTV for giving me the chance! And I congratulate the winner from  Demacia for her splendid performance; I can't wait to watch the 12th edition!
With that being said, fans were wondering if DRTV changed their initial plans on sending an Irsan act, in the time between the start of the confirmations and the results of the 11th edition - and DRTV 3 confirmed this morning that those plans are unchanged, and announced the act this morning.
The next Dýrian act will be...
IMLÉ  IMLÉ is a band made up of members Cian Mac Cártaigh, Fergal Moloney and Marcus Mac Conghail; Cian and Marcus are natives of the Irsan province Weston, while Fergal was actually born in  Flírskmasto to Dýrian parents. Despite this, all 3 of them are fluent speakers of Irsan and the majority of their music is written in the Irsan language. After being selected, they stated that: "Being the first ever acts in Fantasia Contest to sing in the Irsan language is amazing - we never expected to be given the chance to represent our country in the contest, but when we saw DRTV accepting Irsan entries, we just had to! We promise to do our best for Dýria."This marks the first time in Dýria's history that a male act will be sent. The song will be announced at a later point, stay tuned!

Ermy confirms participation at the next edition of the Fantasia Contest after Nadia Tehran's 12th place!
The method of selection will be once again be The Next Hoe!

 FBC Officially Confirms the Fordian Participation2018-06-18, Krono, FBC Headquarter - "We can finally confirm the Fordian participation and the third edition of 'The One'. Because of last edition's last place in Krono we decided to go back to 15 participating artists which we are currently selecting." |

Nitram - Since confirming earlier this year, the Llortish broadcaster LGY has made preparations for the upcoming 12th edition of the Fantasia Contest. Many applications were received by the broadcaster, but the delegation officially determined their act with an internal selection. According to the head of delegation, the decision to go internal is because of poor results from the winners of the past two national selections.
An act has already been selected to represent the small island nation, and the delegation is currently in the process of putting the finishing touches of the proposed entry, which will be revealed at a later date. However, LGY is pleased to announce that our next Llortish act heading to the 12th Fantasia Contest will be none other than...
VIENNA TENG  Also known by her birth name as Cynthia Yih Shih (Meilinese: 史逸欣 Shi Yixin), Teng is a pianist and singer-songwriter of Llortish origin. Her parents are migrants from  Amelia, but she was born and raised in Llort. At the age of 5, she began playing classical piano, and her musical journey began there.
Since 2002, Teng has released six albums in her career and also provided the score for an independent musical. Stylistically, her music incorporates folk, pop, classical piano, and a cappella. Currently, she is based in  US Eldance.

KINGDOVANIA: KRTV CONFIRMS PARTICIPATION FOR THE 12TH EDITION
After a successful seventh place from Beast In Black, resulting in the best ever placement for Kingdovania in the competition,
KRTV will continue their participation for the 8th edition in a row.
KRTV can already reveal that the representative of Kingdovania has been selected, and will be revealed in due time.
Meanwhiles, KRTV has promised to reveal more information about the entry at a sooner date before the official release. |
