LTV CONFIRMS LATVIAN PARTICIPATION
AT THE 27TH NORTH VISION SONG CONTEST
12/12/2018, RIGA - The Latvian broadcaster LTV confirmed the Latvian participation for the upcoming North Vision Song Contest. The broadcaster can confirm that it will be selecting the entry via the usual internal selection, sadly not Supernova. Our entry will be revealed this week with more details!

 Azerbaijan will be back in NorthvisionAfter its last participation in NVSC23, the Caucasian country has confirmed today in a press conferend held by AzTV, that the country will be back in the upcoming edition, which will be held in Odessa,  Ukraine. Information about possible artists or hints about the entry have not been revealed. The only thing that has been confirmed is that the entry will be internally selected. |

 MYRKUR TO PERFORM "JUNIPER" IN ODESSA! Myrkur has just revealed through her social media that "Juniper" will be the song that will represent  Denmark in the upcoming 27th edition to take place in  Odessa, Ukraine.  "Juniper" is a gorgeous and powerful ballad that immediately hooks the listener with its infectious chorus and lush string arrangements. It was written and arranged by Amalie herself and was released as part of her same-titled EP – Juniper — which features as its B-Side, "Bonden og Kragen", a solo reinterpretation of a traditional Danish folk song. "Juniper" was reportedly the first choice of the artist. However, following a submission of several songs, an expert jury panel decided the song that would be representing the country in the 27th edition, which was eventually the song the artist wanted as well. In a recent interview given by Amalie, she said: "I'm so glad I was given the opportunity to showcase something different for Denmark in this competition. I hope people will embrace it and love it as much as I do. But in the end, everything is just another new experience for an artist and I'm just looking forward to that part of the contest." Myrkur has announced that she will be touring around Europe for promotion of the song; the promo tour will include cities in the Nordic countries, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Austria and a lot more. Georgian Public Broadcasting (GPB) has just officially announced that Georgia will be present in Odessa to celebrate the 27th edition of the North Vision Song Contest.
Georgia's participation in the upcoming edition will be the 24th time that the Caucasus nation has taken part in the contest since their debut in Budapest.
The broadcaster has not confirmed how they will be selecting their participant for the contest in Ukraine.
However, another internal selection is most likely going to happen. For the previous edition, held in Rotterdam, GPB has opted for an internal selection process which totally paid off. Nina Sublatti featuring The Mins represented Georgia in the Netherlands with the song “Spiritual”. They finished 21st in the grand final with 177 points. This was Georgia's first appearance in the final since the 23rd edition.
 Thank you to all who trusted us, especially our broadcaster who gave me a great chance to return to this great contest. We are thrilled, satisfied with the performance and the 21st place and we hope that our homeland will progress every edition to North Vision. Now we are really curious to find out who our successor is going to be.  |

-Belarus: Well, I liked it, I have to listen to the song more, first I listen very well.
-Iceland: I liked it a lot.
-Slovenia: I was pleasantly surprised, but I realized that the song is missing something.
-Denmark: Incredible.
