Betta Lemme was born in Montréal, Canada on 30 April 1993 to two Italian parents. She speaks Italian fluently, alongside French and English and a fourth undisclosed tongue.
More exactly, her parents are only from Italian descent, and her four grand-parents are Italian. About the languages, English is certainly her mothertongue, elsewhere she would speak with a Quebecois accent. I don't know how fluent she is at French and Italian, but during her interviews on Italian channels, we can see that she understands Italian but that she prefers answering in English (she does only short answers in Italian). About the fourth tongue, I'm not sure it exists, because I saw interviews or her saying that she speaks three languages. So if there is a fourth language and she didn't mention it, her level is probably basic.
I was basing it off of this article which says that she speaks four languages, perhaps it is incorrect or outdated. |

I was basing it off of this article which says that she speaks four languages, perhaps it is incorrect or outdated. Yes, I saw this article. They say that she can speak (and sing) in four languages but actually English, French and Italian are the only languages she sang in so far. There are several references to a fourth language on Internet but impossible to find out where this information comes from, so maybe it's just wrong. Or maybe she is not fluent at this fourth language and this is why she doesn't mention it during her interviews. |

 FOUR COUNTRIES TO REVEAL THEIR ENTRIES TONIGHT This morning, it was revealed that four broadcasters would join up to reveal their entries for the twenty-seventh edition of the North Vision Song Contest together. These are MRT from Macedonia, PBS from Malta, TVR from Romania and the BBC from the United Kingdom.
The show is expected to start at 21:30 CET, and the room will be opened minutes before.

Malta's Entry
Malta can now reveal that their entry. We can proudly announce that Malta will be represented by the Maltese duo BlackFawn!
The Maltese duo is made up by Alexandra Aquilina and Daniel Borg. They formed together in 2015 and started to make music in Berlin. Their music style is self-described as "Psych-noise-pop".
They will be representing Malta in Odessa, Ukraine with their song "Hopes & Dreams". 1:37+
