  Lanovina CONFIRMS for #16Cöhln, 23rd May: Despite the false non-qualification in FC #15, LTR confirmed that  Lanovina will not withdraw from the contest and instead participate as an automatic qualifier. "While we're not happy with how the previous edition went for us, we never actually considered withdrawing from the contest as errors can happen and the entire country still loves the contest. Nevertheless, we took the FBA's offer to be an AQ next edition and we can't wait to see our entry in the final!" stated the HoD.
The broadcaster also revealed that they already selected a lucky artist to represent the nordic nation but won't organise a national selection for the song this time, therefore the entry selection will be made internally. Who the hopeful entrant and their wonderful song is, will be announced in the upcoming days.

KIKI WITH KK #3 ACTS REVEALED!KKBC confirmed that Ka'a and Kehbé would compete in the 16th edition of the Fantasia Contest earlier this week. They are now proud to reveal the national final for Ka'a and Kehbé, Kiki with KK, has returned for a third edition. Eight acts have been chosen with roots nationally and internationally. The selected acts include former contest participants, as well as newcomers all vying for the chance to represent Ka'a and Kehbe on the world stage with the hopes to bring the country back to the final. A range of genres are on display, including soul, R&B, traditional folk, garage and electronic

After letting a handful of countries announce their entry before them, STA is now ready to announce what could very well be Achróa's most niche and "acquired taste" entry yet - although that doesn't mean it bears no meaning; in fact, the new Achróan entry may be the most meaningful yet.
Writing for Achróa's leading review site Le Vistè, Mètçlí Tetèn says:
Chilling is an understatement for this absolutely haunting song - no, not song: piece. It isn't just a piece either, it is a blistering counterattack on those who have tortured this true artist. The abuse, the pain, the conviction - they are all channelled and expressed in an assailing wall of wails, screams and vocalisations bound to leave an impression on anyone listening to it. By the latter half of the song, the storm subsides and leaves a barren land: a solemn singer to an equally solemn chamber accompaniment. Kristin Hayter is a classically trained multi-instrumentalist originally from Delóqenç and currently residing in Lothlór. In 2017, she self-released two albums—Let the Evil of His Own Lips Cover Him and All Bitches Die—under the moniker LINGUA IGNOTA (Latin for "unknown language"). Through word-of-mouth, Hayter's music caught the attention of Profound Lore Records, who re-issued All Bitches Die and will release her third studio album Caligula in 2019.
Kristin Hayter is a survivor of domestic violence and has been in several relationships that were "physically, emotionally, sexually, or psychologically" abusive. Her most abusive relationship lasted five years with "a very powerful noise musician in the Lothlór community". She will release her third studio album Caligula through Profound Lore on July 19, 2019. The album is about one of her abusive relationships, specifically about "speaking out about abuse and feeling invalidated, and people who I thought were my friends no longer being my friends, and the crushing experience of how that feels."
Butcher of the World is the first single from Caligula, and seems to capture the very essence of what Caligula as a whole is trying to achieve. It is a vicious retaliation against her abusers, laying out what happened stone-cold and flat, and ultimately with Hayter herself coming out on top.

Saskatoon, Olddell -  CBS, EBC, NEBC, & The CW (Big 4) confirmed that the country would be taking part in the upcoming 16th edition of the Fantasia Contest, that will take place in neighboring Alkyria. The Big 4 broadcasters revealed that the Eldancan statewide national selection Sunshine & Stars will be held for the 13th consecutive edition still being the longest running selection in the Fantasia Contest. Alkyria confirms for the sixteenth edition of Fantasia Contest!
The Alkyrian broadcaster has confirmed its participation in the next edition after SHYGIRL managed to bring the nation's second victory in a close race. Regarding the host city selection, the capital, Akureyri - which previously hosted Fantasia Contest in its fifth edition - refused the opportunity, leaving the other cities the possibility of hosting.
"As of now, there's a lot of submissions we have to take in consideration, all of which are located in different regions of the Republic. There's a lot to take in, as we're trying our best to offer the right conditions for both the participants as well as for the audience. We're taking everything seriously, knowing that our broadcaster at the moment wants to make the show better, if not equally as good as we last hosted."
The Alkyrian Republic will choose its entrant via internal selection.
No hidden hints have been collected as of yet about the identity of the representative according to the Alkyrian media. |

Despite having a six non-qualification streak, Ruyjin Republic won't give up thus the nation will be present in Alkyria. Instead of opting for an Internal selection, the broadcaster confirmed a national selection.
