 Belarus Confirms their participation in the 29th NVSC editionDepsite the non-qualification in the last edition. Belarus is happy to confirm with their new HOD. In an interview the HOD said that he is happy to take over Belarus and is ready to get the country to it's first top ten result. It was already revealed that the entry will be chosen via international selection. The Entry will be decided at the end of the month but the date of the entry reveal isn't decided yet. More information will be revealed later. |

Algeria to be present in the 29th edition of the North Vision Song Contest
"A fresh outlook for Algeria", is what the new Head of Delegation of Algeria, Steven Kayteb said after taking up the role following internal changes within the broadcaster during the last week. The broadcaster confirmed for the 29th edition of the North Vision Song Contest following the announcement of a new Head of Delegation. Despite a string of mixed results, Kayteb remained optimistic that he and his team could help the country become more consistent at qualifying, and even challenge for the podium.
The broadcaster did not reveal at the present time if the entry would be selected internally, or through a national final, although the former seems more likely based on the broadcaster's television schedule. A number of artists are currently being contacted and interviewed by the broadcaster. More information is likely to be revealed in the coming days.

KAZAKHSTAN WILL PARTICIPATE!
Astana, Kazakhstan. 27th June 2019.
The new head of delegation,   Ivo Maskunyanov stated in a press conference "Kazakhstan will take part in the 29th edition of the North Vision Song Contest. We are very glad and excited for the upcoming edition, good luck to every country taking part in the final".
He also stated the following about the selection of the song: "Kazakhstan will select its entry via National Final, I can't reveal any information yet, we are currently negotiating some options like revamping the current National Final Áýenfestivali or creating a new system".
NATIONAL FINAL From now one you can suggest songs to compete in the NF via the official form of NTK.

 TURKEY CONFIRMS PARTICIPATION
Intense days for the broadcaster Türkiye Radyo ve Televizyon Kurumu since a new Head Of Delegation was announced to take the lead after many editions.Today, 28/06/19 , among the excitement it was officially stated that Turkey will take part in the upcoming edition of the North Vision Song Contest.These are the words of the current HoD
"We are really looking forward to the next edition and we are
already immersed in the preparation and the choice of
the selection method, which will be obviously announced at a later date"

I remember the times where you could have waited for one year until one or two draws would take place  Yeah, and it felt like at least 5 people have withdrawn in the meantime.Or wait was that before the draws were even introduced? |

MOROCCO CONFIRMS PARTICIPATION!
Malca's NQ in the 28th edition of North Vision Song Contest marked an end of 8 consecutive finals for Morocco. Despite his failure, 2M TV confirms the Moroccan participation in NVSC29. Due to financial restrictions, the entry will be chosen internally, and the new HOD promised it will be "a song that reminds you of summer". The song will be officially released after the conclusion of NVSC28. JK, it's been only three years when I sent Jan a message to add me to the WL. Now that I see, I quite benefited from the "you have to post at least once a month" rule. First, I want to thank Andreas and Callum for having Morocco for the past two years, eventhough their results gave me a little pressure.  Second, thank you Fabbi for having me as a co-HOD. Third, I hope this marks a beginning of a wonderful journey and honestly:

 TUNISIA CONFIRMS!As member of the NBU the broadcaster Télévision Tunisienne 1 officially confirmed that  Tunisia the North-African country will be present at the upcoming North Vision Song Contest. This shouldn't come as a surprise after seeing the country back in the final in their returning edition, with Emel shining bright in the 28th final of the contest.
It has been rumoured the broadcaster opted to go for an Internal Selection and that the artist(s) already have been selected again. The Head of Delegation Jeesim al-Ridwan stated that after Emel made it to the final the team is more than excited to show Europe their next entrant, saying the duo's performance will be simply magical.Tunisia has participated a total of nine times since it's debut in the 8th edition. This was and still is the only edition in which Tunisia qualified to the final ending at the 17th place. The editions after weren't doing Tunisia any favours, the country had to endure eight non-qualifications, three of which were pre-qualification round non-qualifications. After so many failures the NBU and the Nessma broadcasting company decided to end the Tunisian participation, starting from the seventeenth edition on. Tables turned however shortly after Tunisia was allowed to return under broadcaster Télévision Tunisienne 1, with the country immediately qualifying to the final.   Germany CONFIRMS!Cologne, 28th June: Once again, Germany will be a part of the upcoming NVSC edition. Having qualified twice since the return, WDR is motivated to deliver more great songs and uphold the streak. In the meantime, everyone at home is rooting for Lilly to bring back an amazing result! Information about the selection process has not been revealed, but insider rumours state that the country might go back to an internal selection. However, the Head of Delegation has not officially confirmed anything, so everything remains to be seen. |

Romania confirms!
 Romania will be present at the upcoming edition of the North Vision Song Contest. The new Head of Delegation is looking forward to take over this position. For now we wish Lucia the best of luck! It is unknown yet which method will be chosen to decide the next Romanian entry.

LEBANON CONFIRMS
BEIRUT, 02 JULY 2019.
The Lebanese broadcaster confirmed  Lebanon's presence for the 29th Northvision Song Contest.
The method of selection will be the same as the previous edition, aka, an internal selection.
One sure thing, is that the entry will be sung in Arabic.
