I actually knew her (probably because of X Factor too) and I noticed her cover of a song by Florence and the Machine, but I wasn't aware of the late start of her career. Her style is very different now...

Yendry was in a sense already here, the trio Materianera was competing for the Castelli Festival #1 (NVSC #18) with the song " Supernova", she was the lead voice. *Supernova (logo of the latvian selection) was the other clue *Fiorentino (logo of the sammarinese castle) was the other clue, because Fiorentino is her surname and Materianera represent this castle *Neighborhood/Barrio was the other clue, the same title of Mahmood's song (he is with her at X Factor Italy in 2012) |

  Moscow, we can announce that we have selected the group Tritia to represent  Russia in  Lillehammer. The group consist of Slava Martjoesjov, Ivan Androekovitsj & Kirill Ganin. The group formed in 2014. They mostly make alternative rock songs. They are signed with Gazgolder since 2019.  They will perform their song "Wake" in Lillehammer. The song will be performed in English, being the sixth song entirely in English since our debut. We wish Tritia the best of luck in Norway! |

 Mattis returns to represent Denmark in the 31st edition! Tuesday, 18 February 2020 • 19:07  After about two weeks, the voting for Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 24 officially closed earlier today with the winner being revealed right after. DR revealed that a total of 40 votes were cast in the selection. Mattis returns to the contest! Mattis was revealed to be the big winner of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 24. The singer won the selection with his song "Fade Into Myself" and will represent the country for second time, after he took part in the 26th edition with the song "Loverboy" and placed 11th in the final. The voting grid was revealed along with the announcement of the winner. Mattis managed to collect an outstanding amount of 326 points, 47 points ahead the runner-up – Ida Laurberg and "Grayzone". As for the rest of the results, the other returning North Vision act, MØ, placed 5th. Check out the rest of the results in the voting grid below.  DR held a press conference with the winner of the selection right after the announcement, where the media had the chance to ask their questions to the winner as well as the Head of Delegation. Before the press questions started, Mattis gave the following statement: "I just want to say thank you to the people who voted for me, and I'm glad to be back to this contest. Hopefully, I can bring a good result to Denmark again, and maybe an even better one this time. Thank you, once again, for your love and support for my song.
