BHRT made an official announcement today, 3 November 2020, that following a new selection process involving international and national jury members, the representative and the song were finally decided. BHRT would like to thank to the 17 international jury members that were part of the selection process and to the Bosnian national jury, consisting of Zumreta Midžić (Zuzi Zu), Jasmin Fazlić (Jala Brat), Dalal Midhat-Talakić, Alem Cagalj (Unanimo), Mevludin Talović (Unanimo). As a result, it was decided that JVLA will represent

Bosnia&Herzegovina in

North Vision Song Contest #34.

JVLA is a 25-year-old

Bosnian DJ and producer from Sarajevo who got online recognition from people all over the world for one of his songs which became viral on TikTok and YouTube, Such a Whore, a suggestive song that gained more than 20 million views, while its Stellular Remix bass boosted version reached 33 million views on YouTube. Despite his enigmatic and mysterious identity, which he keeps for the fact that "it benefits him more" (even though he plans to reveal more information about him in the near future), JVLA is a very open person in terms of online interaction with his fans. Moreover, he is a productive music-maker, as he released around 25 songs and, according to his stories from social media, he plans to produce around 50 more songs, "inspired from his life experiences".

The Latvian entry for NVSC 34

After an intense period of selection, and a set of great songs, the Latvian delegation has managed to narrow the amount of songs to three, and with the (not-so) secret help of some delegation members of other countries, we have been able to pick an entry, and we are now able to reveal this song.

KASHUKS
with Obscurity.

Kashuks is a Latvian music producer and remixer, and describe his work and himself as "Humanized electronic music", his music career started in 2007, as a joke at first, then it took months to make him realise that these jokes became serious. At first he was producing Latvian hip hop singers, then after 2012, he started to produce songs and pieces that intricately weaves multiple genres from electronic, down-tempo, melancholy and chill, hip hop, to experimental, all to create truly mesmerizing pieces.

The same year, he released his first studio album, "Pieces of a Chance", which correspond to the sounds that Kashuks were searching in music. His path continued in 2013, with his second album, and his nomination at the Annual Latvian Music awards, where he gained recognition for his work. He then continued with Pieces of a Chance pt. 3 in 2014, Fiction in 2015. And now with Lost Echo, released last year, which contains his NVSC Entry, Obscurity.

Here is the upcoming Latvian entry, in total opposite of what you can hear in NVSC, but also from previous Latvian entries.

Let KLER make you immortal!

Our national selection series PNV came to an end. The voting lines have closed earlier than expected, mostly due to the clear result. 10 entries competed for the right to get to represent Ukraine in the North Vision Song Contest. And now, ladies and gentlemen, it's time to present you our ~~unexpected~~ winner (winning with a rating of 4.31/5) and therefore our next representant, who will hopefully not end up in the Pre-Qualification Round.

The winning artist we are talking about is no other than KLER. She is an Ukrainian artist coming from the capital Kiev, and she is ready to take over Europe and even more. The North Vision fans in Ukraine already know her quite well as her participation in PNV #19 was her second attempt to get to the main contest, the first one being in PNV #16 (for NVSC #29) with "Yunaya" where she placed 2nd behind Artem Pivovarov.

The song they will perform in the upcoming semifinals is called "Nestrymna" (Нестримна, eng. Unstreamable). It's a potential new dance-pop hit, combined with a very mysterious music video. The official video makes an allusion to some fantastic melodrama with a little spice of a vampire theme. KLER herself stated that the inspiration for the music video is indeed the film "Twilight" which she rewatched during the ongoing pandemic and the alongside quarantine. The lyrics also make you think about vampires, especially when the chorus begins: "We don't see the sun, we want some rhythm. My light is strong, I am unstreamable." So hopefully you'll have the urge to dance along to KLER and her vampire bop.

The duet is made up by two very familiar faces to the contest.
Edis represented Turkey back in the #13 edition, failing to qualify from the PQR, and in the #26 edition along with the Serbian singer Emina, reaching the 12th place in the Grand Final.
He will share the stage with another legend of the modern turkish pop music, Gülşen ,which already represented the country in the #05 edition, failing to qualify for the final, and in the #15 edition, also reaching the 12th place in the Grand Final.

"Lentamente" is being so late as to anticipate everyone. So early as to arrive when others go. Free to waste time, to take the time you need. The song is like a journey that the singer undertakes together with the listener who is transported gently and slowly within a stream of consciousness, a whirlwind of thoughts that follow one another and alternate. The lyrics combined with a captivating sound that ranges from pop to dance music, and imbued with vaguely oriental and g-word sounds.
