Made in Andorra concluded yesterday after two weeks of constant changes in the leading position. Eventually, the duo of Tatiana Delalvz and Danny Romero managed to take the lead and win the selection!

Tatiana Delalvz ft. Danny Romero - "Reza" (Pray) 0:26+

Tatiana Delaluz, a debuting singer from Algeciras will join forces with the returning artist

Danny Romero (represented Spain in NVSC #24 along with Sweet California).
"Reza", is a pop-urban song about empowerment after a break up, putting special emphasis on female empowerment.

with her song:

LULLABY

Her appearance is girlish and pretty. But don't be fooled: singer / songwriter LAKSHMI is a spicy young woman who knows what she wants. Named after the goddess of love, she sings about love in all her forms. Personal stories wrapped in Pop Noir: a mix of poetic lyrics, dark strings and fierce synths. A triangular relationship between Lana Del Rey, Warhaus and Massive Attack.

HOST ENTRY REVEALED!

The Slovak delegation presented yesterday their entry for the 34th edition of the Northvision Song Contest, hosted on home soil in the beautiful

Bratislava!

Noisecut is an electroclash band from host city

Bratislava. Novelty is the keyword to describe the music of these 5 talented artists: mysterious dubstep sounds combined with raw powerful vocals, their style is unique and perfectly represents the diversity of the Slovak music industry.

Written by members Alzbeta Kostovska Majernikova and Erik Horak, “December” will be performed in Slovak.
The entry is all about winter and the downtime, when the joy and the sadness are reunited.

IT'S ALL DIESE GEWALT FOR GERMANY!

Cologne, 8th November:

Unser Song für NVSC 34 has just reached an end and the winner is Max Rieger, better known under his stage name All diese Gewalt, with his dramatic electropop song "Andere". The entry swept the jury, getting an average of 10 points per country, which eventually carried it to victory. It's the first German entry that's fully in the

German language since "Licht aus" (#25), although the song's focus lies on the instrumental, rather than the vocals.

THE UNITED KINGDOM CHOSE ITS ENTRANT!
RAYE WINS NORTHVISION: YOUR DECISION 34

London – This evening the UK public and an international jury chose the British representative for NVSC 34. With 2091 points Raye won the selection "Northvision: Your Decision". Her song "Natalie Don't" placed 1st in the Televoting and 5th in the Jury ranking. She therefore received 37 points more than the runner-up Shygirl (Freak). Cher Lloyd and her song "One Drink Away" placed 3rd with 1996 points. It was a very close run but after all more people preferred "Natalie Don't".

23 year-old Rachel Agatha Keen, better known as Raye is an English musician from London. Her mother is

Swiss and her father

English. She made her debut in 2014. Her biggest success so far is her 2020 song "Secrets" from her album Euphoric Sad Songs.

Speaking about the song "Natalie Don't", Rachel said:

“Natalie was, you know, a good friend of mine, and a guy. And it was wild, and I dealt with it the only way I know how to, and I made a song, and in fact, I'm glad that Natalie did because now I've got 'Natalie Don't'. In my opinion, if you lose someone you love, that's like a death, because I went from loving, knowing and adoring that person, seeing them every day, sharing the deepest bits of myself, and then you're strangers again. And then it's like the most oddest concept and you know, it took me a hot minute to really recover from this last one.”

Natalie Don't is described as: "It leads the way, and it's a powerful tale of losing your significant other to an outside party. A song about the demise of a relationship, the way RAYE deals with betrayal - and it's aftermath - is perfectly done."

The Ground by ZIMBRU

ZIMBRU is an indie/alt-rock band from Cluj-Napoca which comprises of Teodora Retegan, Paul Bucovesan, Andrei Bobiș and Oana Pop. In June 2019, the band released their first single, "Divination" off of their debut EP which was followed by the single "Little Creatures" released in September 2019, revealing the EP's name.

"Divination" took part in the previous edition of Romania's Revival where it ended 3rd overall. This time however, the band managed to snag a win over Olivia Addams's "Dumb".

SPANISH ENTRY REVEALED!

8 November 2020 • Barcelona, Spain

Spain has officially revealed its entry after an exciting final of the last ever edition of the national selection Festival Ibérico. The results were quite intense, since the entry that triumphed won neither of the voting groups, but won by 1 point in the end. So, without further ado, the

Spanish entry in the 34th edition of the North Vision Song Contest, with 106 points, is...

Las Villa!

Las Villa, Laura and Lucía, are a duo of twin sisters with a very particular musical style where they mix pop melodies with urban rap. Born in Bogotá,

Colombia, they have spent their 25 years of life developing an amazing artistic preparation that today leads to an artistic project that surpasses any possible imagination, combining ingredients from three continents as different as America, Europe and Asia.

Their grandfather, a doctor of bullfighters, introduced them to

Spanish dances and it was thanks to him that from the age of 10 they professionally trained their senses to fill them with bulerías, sevillanas, farrucas and rumbas. On the other hand, their older sister filled their imagination with Japanese characters from manga culture, the exotic flawless esthetics of J-pop that they unwittingly adopted in the midst of their Latin nature full of color, rhythm, emotions and love for their native Colombia. “We have Japanese, Latin and Spanish influences, but the most important thing is the language of music, this one is universal. We are citizens of the world. - Laura Villa. Laura masters the rhythm, beats and metrics, bars and tempos; while Lucía is an impetuous of the melodies adding slightly darker touches to this powerful, imposing and fresh project.

They won the 3rd edition of Festival Ibérico over Sen Senra by just one vote, and the sisters stated that they are still shocked to have achieved such a spectacular score for a foreign act.
