 Monaco's entry set to be revealed next week!
Saturday, 19 September 2020 • 18:00 This evening, TMC revealed some more exciting news regarding  Monaco's participation in the upcoming 34th edition of the North Visiong Song Contest, set to be held in  Slovakia. They confirmed the news that the Monégasque entry will be revealed next week, more specifically Saturday, 26th September, via a brief entry teaser posted on Twitter.In a tweet captioned, "Watch this space, next Saturday morning 👀", the teaser plays a brief instrumental of the song and shows footage of four different European cities, leading to fan frenzy trying to figure out what these cities are, and what they mean. You can watch this teaser below.
Speaking briefly of the entry reveal, a spokesperson for TMC said, "Having both hosted an open call for entry submissions and sent out talent scouts to source new, fresh talent, we have reached an entry that we are absolutely thrilled and excited to present. We are so excited to see what people think of what our little nation has to offer!"

TURKEY CONFIRMS!
This morning the broadcaster Türkiye Radyo ve Televizyon Kurumu confirmed that the country will be taking part in the North Vision Song Contest 34 in Slovakia.
During an interview the HoD stated : "The success of our social media's queen Fulin in Batumi left no doubt about the participation in the next edition. After several failures we finally had the possibity to be part of the Grand Final show. We will do our best to keep the streak of good results and to bring the country even higher on the final scoreboard".
SELECTION METHOD
It was also confirmed that a second edition of the format KuzeyMelodi will be held with 8 songs taking part in a single show. The selection of the participating entries in still under way.

 EIVØR RETURNS FOR THE FAROE ISLANDS ENTRY TO BE CHOSEN INTERNALLY KVF has officially announced that Eivør will represent the country at the upcoming PQR for the North Vision Song Contest, hoping to qualify to the main stage of the competition. The broadcaster has revealed that the shortlist for the songs will be made by Eivør personally. The singer will be accompanied by a team of industry professionals and international songwriters to find the perfect entry that can get the most points for the Faroe Islands at the North Vision Song Contest while still staying true to the singer's style and image. The song will officially be revealed in early October. NORTH MACEDONIA CONFIRMS! 26 September 2020 • Skopje, North Macedonia Earlier This Morning, the North Macedonian Delegation team discussed their future in the Northvision Song Contest. Following a respectable 24th Place achieved by FJORA and her song "Bad Omen" all members expressed their interest to Continue Participation at the Worldwide Contest.
"The Desire and Interest of the contest is still very lively in the North Macedonian Public. We are determined to Showcase the Best Music. After Intense Preparations for the upcoming edition, we are Confident we can make yet Another Success for the Nation." Comment from the North Macedonian HoD - Josh It was also Confirmed at the meeting that Makedonska Superdzvezda would Continue, marking the selection's Ninth Edition as the Method used by our Delegation. After a new Delegation Member was appointed mid-way through the previous edition, both the Co-HoD and the HoD decided that a Revamp of the Selection would help boost the chances of Success at the contest.

SLOVAKIA TO HOST NORTHVISION SONG CONTEST 34!
After more than 30 participations,  Slovakia finally had the opportunity to hold the long-awaited NVSC trophy in  Batumi! Thanks to Papyllon and their song "What About Tonight", the country will proudly host the upcoming edition of the contest. The head of delegation  Maxim Raevic made the special announcement during a press conference this morning, thus confirming the Slovak participation.

“The whole country is insanely happy, this is such a big achievement for us! I didn't think this small nation could win someday, but we did it. We can't stop partying, it's just unbelievable!!” added Mr Raevic.
National broadcaster RTVS is getting ready for this huge event and a handful of hosting bids are in the works. The following Slovak cities are in the race to become host city of NVSC 34:
BRATISLAVA • KOSICE • ZILINA
TRNAVA • TRENCIN • ZVOLEN
More information about the host entry will be revealed soon, although an internal selection is likely.

It's Pace for Monaco!
Saturday, 26 September 2020 • 13:37 Today it has been confirmed, as per the announcement last Saturday, that the artist set to represent Monaco as the North Vision Song Contest heads to Slovakia for its 34th edition is Pace. The alt-pop group, while mostly Monégasque, is now based in  London and has roots from all over Europe.
 The four piece consists of Lorenzo Calvo, Chris Eleos, Adam Pavlovčin and Adrián Čermák, and were approached by the delegation team at the beginning of September. The entry marks the first appearance of a Monégasque artist in the contest since TJ Bilham in the 24th edition. They first caught public attention in their appearance at Brighton Pride’s LoveBN1Fest in 2019, and have since become a favourite on Sofar Sound.
The band describes itself as influenced by artists such as Aurora, Anohni and Sufjan Stevens, and these influences are somewhat evident in their North Vision 34 entry, "Fallen", which you can listen to below.

SLOVENIA CONFIRMS PARTICIPATION
After an unfortunately non qualification in Batumi, Georgia in the 33rd Northvision Song Contest, RTVSLO can happily confirm that Slovenia will not throw in the towel yet.
Their selection process is already in action, and the broadcasting team is currently in discussion with several names that may represent the nation in the coming edition.
More news to be revealed in due time!

NETHERLANDS TO BE IN SLOVAKIA!Hilversum, the Netherlands
AVROTROS WILL BE THERE AT NORTH VISION 34!
After another successful NVSC edition for The Netherlands, being automatically qualified and showing off the Dutch language with Veras coming in 22nd, AVROTROS can confirm that The Netherlands will be present in #34!
AVROTROS also can confirm that the selection method will be internal. It was rumoured Noord Visie Song Festival was going to return, but a lack of interest from the Dutch public has meant the decision to go internal has been taken.
The hunt for the Dutch NVSC entry has begun, and one thing can be sure. It will be serving the Netherlands' finest in terms of music, lyrics & performances, whilst promoting unknown acts within the Netherlands.
Any suggestions from around Europe (and Australia) are more than welcome, and is encouraged by AVROTROS.
