  Zimbabwe
Gweru, 4 January 2021 - After the successful participation of Zimbabwe by  Oliver Heldens and   Shungudzo who brought us 3rd place which is the country's new best results in Own Africavision Song Contest, the Zimbabwean broadcaster are very pleased with the results, therefore it was announced that Zimbabwe will definitely participate in the upcoming edition of the contest that will be held in  South Africa.
Several artists, both who are native and of Zimbabwean descent, have shown their interest to be the representative of our country since the first edition and the number of interested artists have grown more and more due to our successful debut in  DR Congo. Lots of songs and artists are shortlisted to be our potential entry and after the results, the broadcaster had held a meeting once again to find the most suitable song, after some discussions the broadcaster had agreed that it's time to finally send him. Are you ready to meet our next representative? Please welcome... ... ... ... .. .. .. . . . .
Enzo Ishall
Enzo Ishall (real name Stephen Kudzanai Mamhere) is a Zimbabwean musician and Zimdancehall artists. Enzo Ishall is popular for his hit songs "Kanjiva", "50 Magate", and "Mhamha" released in September 2019. The songs were produced by Mbare based record label Chillspot Records. Enzo Ishall also refers to himself as "'Stallion"'.
In September 2019 it was reported that Ishall was now working under Passion Java and that he had been bought out from his Chillspot Records contract.

Eritrea confirms! L'Eritrea parteciperà al concorso come sempre Mendefera, 4 January 2020
Sadly losing their top 10 streak in  Mauritius, the Eritrean broadcaster  Eritrean Television (Eri-TV) started getting demands from the local potatoes farmers to use their budget for supporting the potatoes harvest instead. The glorious president, by the way, stills believe in the power of music and Eritrea’s amazing foreign relationships - and officially announced the participation of the nation in  South Africa. The head of the delegation sent an online new year wishing message to  3Angle and  Helen Tesfazghi after presenting the country and at the same time, revealed that the team is currently on their way to contact the potential artists to be our representative. The definition given by the HoD themselves is "They are totally the moment. The extra moment."
The fifth Eritrean entry in the competition is expected to be released when we finish preparing ourselves to present our floppage.
More information will be announced later

Aminata Savadogo (born 9 January 1993), known as simply Aminata, is a Burkinabé- Latvian singer, songwriter, record producer, and model. She represented Latvia in the Eurovision Song Contest (a spin off song competition inspired by Own Africavision Song Contest) with the song "Love Injected". She released her debut studio album, Inner Voice, in April 2015.
Aminata Savadogo was born in Riga on 9 January 1993 to a mother of Latvian and  Russian descent, and a Burkinabé father. She considers herself primarily Latvian-Burkinabé. She started singing at the age of 13 with private tutor Nadežda Buharova, graduated from the Bolderāja Music and Art School in Riga and secondary school with specialisation in flute. At age 15, she took part in the Latvian television show Krodziņā pie Paula and then also competed in Muzikālā banka at age 17. She also took part in Koru kari 3, the Latvian version of Clash of the Choirs as a part of the Golden Choir.
