 Monaco confirms!
Monday, 16 August • 12:50 In the latest few editions,  Monaco has been quick to confirm their presence in the North Vision Song Contest early on, and the 37th edition is no exception, as TMC has once again officially confirmed that Monaco will be present at NVSC 37, regardless of the result   Kiara Jones achieves in  Bologna. The delegation has already tied the longest ever Monégasque qualification streak in the contest with 3 final appearances on the trot since edition 34.
And TMC is determined to keep that streak going in the 37th edition. "To be in the top 10 of the betting odds for the third consecutive edition is an incredible achievement for us, we're so excited with the direction in which we are going in this contest and know that, whatever result Kiara gets us in Bologna, she will have done us so proud in making Monaco a force to be reckoned with in this contest." Kiara's song "Never" has landed Monaco in 5th place in the grand final betting odds, which would mean a second consecutive automatic qualification for the microstate.
However, the delegation will not be resting on their laurels, with work already underway for the 37th edition, "Above all else, we want to keep providing creativity and diversity with our entries, displaying everything these incredible artists have to offer. As such, we aren't going to confirm an internal selection nor a national selection yet, we are going to wait and see what comes to us first, and go from there. Expect more news from us soon!"

 Iceland confirms!16 August 2021 • Reykjavík, Iceland RÚV has just confirmed that  Iceland will be participating in the 37th edition of the North Vision Song Contest!
After BRÍET managed to bring the country back to the grand final after 2 editions, with her song Hann er ekki þú, there were no doubts about Iceland's participation in the contest. The final of this edition is set to be the most viewed final ever, as RÚV estimates a 99% share of the viewers will be tuning in to see their country perform, alongside the other 25 finalists. This is in stark contrast to last edition, where viewing figures took a massive hit - making the 35th edition one of the least viewed editions on Icelandic television.
Commenting on BRÍET's success in the 36th edition, the head of delegation, Snæbjörn Brjánsson, stated that:
BRÍET has already made us proud by bringing Iceland back to the final. We are positively surprised with all the positive messages and support that we have gotten from across Europe in relation to our song, and we are glad that people have enjoyed it! No matter what happens in the 36th edition, we can safely say that Iceland is back in the game, and oh are we not backing down anytime soon.
No news with regards to the selection process has been revealed yet by RÚV. It's very likely that an internal selection will continue to be used, however the head of delegation and co-head of delegation have yet to discuss this. A decision will be made in due course and BRÍET's result could possibly influence the outcome.

THE FAROE ISLANDS CONFIRM!
Tórshavn, 16 August 2021 KVF has secured the broadcasting rights for another 3 editions of the North Vision Song Contest, meaning that the country's broadcaster is not planning to withdraw in the near future. The entry is supposedly to be chosen through a small national selection similar to "Sangur" in #32 to #34. More details are yet to be revealed though.

 AMPTV will withdraw this editionSad news for Armenian fans of North Vision came today, after the Armenian broadcaster AMPTV decided to withdraw from the 37th edition of this competition. As the HoD mention, there were several reasons for this decision: recent paying for right to broadcast the 2020 Summer Olympics, which caused huge debts, Juliana not qualifying to the final in Bologna and a likely PQR forced the CEO not to sign the paperwork. A return in 38th edition isn't excluded. Long story, so if you're interested, continue.
And now the truth - since March my private life is a mess. The state blocked my company's accounts, I haven't got my paycheck in four months, and my grandma was diagnosed a serious disease. That disease is dementia with symptoms of Alzheimer's disease. She is paranoid, always accusing my dad (a.k.a. her daughter's husband) for stealing her money, keys and even a fucking wheelbarrow, and of course forgeting simple things, like cooking, locking the door and so on. Unfortunately, my mom couldn't put her in an institution because grandma and my uncle (mom's brother) signed a contract he will take care of her until she dies. The thing is - he lives in Germany, while we live in Croatia and we were taking care of grandma for the past 15 years. Once it was such a huge mess we had to call the police, refuse to contact grandma for over a month and even put surveillance cameras. In the end, my parents and I ran away from house every weekend to my dad's childhood home, just to clear our minds. In the end, on SC we saw my uncle took grandma somewhere and we didn't know where for five days, until she called me and told she is in a retirement home.
It took my time so much I forgot to vote on time in SF2. And clearly, I need to work on my mental health, so I will take one edition out, with a hope I will return. [/div][/font] |

 Bosnia&Herzegovina confirms participation!
BHRT confirms that, after managing to qualify to the final of the 36th edition, Bosnia&Herzegovina will participate in the upcoming edition of North Vision Song Contest!
The Head of Delegation, Zumreta Midžić, known as Zuzi Zu, has declared, after the country qualified to the final, that:  Zuzi Zu performing Vatra at a local club in Mostar, after NVSC #36 Semifinal 1 show
BHVision rumored to be organized for its special 20th edition!
The selection method of the next Bosnian entry has not been decided yet, but it is rumored that a special event of the long-lived national selection, BHVision, will be organized with the occasion of its 20th edition. However, there is no official confirmation regarding this aspect, as the current edition of North Vision Song Contest is still on-going. An internal method of selection is not excluded at this point, as Zuzi Zu mentions: |

THE UNITED KINGDOM CONFIRMS!
London – Tonight the BBC has confirmed the British participation for the 37th North Vision Song Contest. North Vision: Your Decision will once again serve as selection method. Songs and/or artists can be suggested >>here<<.
According to the Head of Delegation "For the first time since edition 30, the format of our national selection will be changed. There will be less songs and less shows but more quality. A line-up has already been selected but submissions are still open. We are very excited to share more information soon."
What are your guesses? Who might participate in the upcoming selection?

So, the edition in Bologna concluded an hour ago, and Ukraine experienced a real disgrace on the Northvision stage. JAV' managed to score 100 points in the Grand Final which was enough to... well, it wasn't enough for anything. 26th aka last place, after the euphoria about the qualification and odds stating the opposite, was not what she actually expected. However the running order position and the absent talks about the country were not the only reasons why this disgrace could have been expected. The 37th edition was quite a surprise in many ways...
Anyway, immediately after the results presentation, the HoD came to the conclusion that nothing is yet decided and discussions about the possible selection method are starting soon. It was even ruled out that a temporary withdrawal is not unlikely either. So nothing is sure and until more news...
