We can comfirm that Australia will be present at the next NVSC with an internal selection

 An era comes to an end After 32 editions of being the Faroese Head of Delegation it is finally time for me to say goodbye and make room for a new face with new creative ideas for the Faroe Islands in the North Vision Song Contest.
I would like to personally thank everyone involved in this contest that made up a huge chunk of my life… 10 YEARS in fact. Being there from the beginning, saving this contest from almost dying several times and going through all results but WINNING… really, thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️ |

 Portugal confirms participation!Lisbon - May 20th, 2023 Today, the official Portuguese broadcaster, RTP, has confirmed the Portuguese participation in the forty-first edition of the North Vision Song Contest. RTP has also confirmed that the entry will be selected internally.

TÜRKIYE CONFIRMS FOR NVSC#41!
Türkiye will take part in the next North Vision Song Contest for the 39th time. As the country didn't end up in the Grand Final's Top 6 last edition, it will have to pass through the semi-finals.
The method of selection has still to be officially announced but it's likely that both the artist and song will be selected behind closed doors by the broadcaster possibly suspending the usual national selection KuzeyMelodi.

Scandal in Spain! In a recently revealed article by the  Spanish press, former Head of Delegation Alfred Sánchez was arrested by authorities due to countless rumors of money laundering through the organization of the North Vision Song Contest.
The head of delegation has refused to comment on the situation, but this leaves no chance for the current head of delegation but to resign from the contest. Therefore, effective immediately, the position is vacant.
This comes as a shock to Spanish North Vision supporters, as the country has had its "golden era" in the past few editions, with 3 Top 10 finishes, and a 100% qualification rate until the last edition where Judeline fell short of the grand final by just 10 points. An internal process to determine the next Head of Delegation is already undergoing. More information will be revealed regarding the future of Spain in the North Vision Song Contest, but for now, it stays unclear.
I fear my time has come to an end in North Vision... with a fresh and blossoming new life in France and very heavy engineering classes, I saw my interest sharply declining in the contets, despite once begging to join it as a 15 year old - back in the 27th edition. It's amazing to see the heights this contest has reached, and I am glad that I have helped it be that with all the efforts that I dedicated to the contest.
Leaving both the council and the contest is a hard decision, and I still have my doubts about it. Maybe I will join another delegation as a mere helper, or just become an observer from the outside. Nonetheless, NVSC has been a huge part of my life and i do not regret anything that I have done (or haven't done) for the contest. The once child version of me that was going insanely happy over video designs, songs from all around the world or the thought of even joining the NBU council would probably hate me for what I am doing right now, but I think I have reached the point where I can actively contribute nothing to this organization.
Good luck to whoever receives Spain, and remember, it will take a while for you to outsell me XOXO

Kazakhstan confirms it's participation in 41 edition The Head of Delegation of Kazakhstan  confirms it's participation in the 40th edition of NorthVision in Greece, after a non-qualification last edition the delegation it's still taking in consideration how to select this edition entry, however it is confirmed that Kazakh delegation will be present in following edition.

Greece with her entry, "Idea", the Georgian delegation has decided to take a step back for the 41st Edition of the contest. It means that 
Georgia will not be present in the 41st Edition of the contest to be held in 
Azerbaijan will be taking part in the North Vision Song Contest 41 in 
Montenegro is celebrating today its 17th anniversary of independence, national broadcaster RTCG announced their participation in the upcoming 41st edition of the North Vision Song Contest.
