Faroe Islands to participate in the 23rd North Vision Song Contest!
Today, the Faroe Islands' national broadcaster KVF announced the participation of the Faroe Islands
in the upcoming North Vision Song Contest. Once again, the act will be chosen internally. KVF has been planning
to reintroduce Sangur vár til NVSC but failed finding sponsors and ressources. A return of the selection "has
definitely not been ruled out [...]", as stated by the head of delegation of the Faroe Islands.
The artist and song will be revealed in August 2017.

 Poland confirms participation in NVSC #23 !Despite non qualification for the second time in a row Poland will participate in next edition.
There were rumours that the entry will be selected internally but we can confirm next edition of Polish Top Of The Top.
12 acts will participate in upcoming selection. Line up is completed and more information will be published after Grand Final results of NVSC #22.

 TVR confirms that Romania will participate in the 23rd edition of North Vision Song Contest.
The selection of the artist and the song is to be determined, however due to budget cuts it will most likely be internal or via a small national selection. |

Denmark confirms participation — DMGP changes announced!
Copenhagen, Denmark
Today, during a press conference held by DR, it was officially revealed that Denmark will be competing in the upcoming 23rd edition of the North Vision Song Contest. The selection process was also revealed to be the long-running selection Dansk Melodi Grand Prix, marking the 18th edition of the selection.
Ahead the announcement of the 18th edition, a few changes in the selection's format were revealed as well. The selection will still consist of 10 songs; however there will be minor changes in the voting process. The jury/televoting system will be introduced once again after last being used in the fifth edition. However, the jury selection this edition will be different; the ten juries will be selected among the North Vision countries based on several criteria.
"This edition will be somehow different; we kept the basis of last edition's format, a final with ten songs. However, we had an idea with the juries this edition; the countries will not be applying this edition but they will be selected by us, based on several criteria, such as a country's success or its voting history. If this system works out, we will probably use it for a while; that is until we have a new idea!"
The songs of the selection have already been selected and announcements will start soon! Voting in the selection is expected to start after the final results of the 22nd edition. |

 A Super-Final for NorthSong#11As the previous NVSC edition hasn't finished yet and the greek NS has started very early this time,the greek delegation has decided to bring a super-final in order to keep the interest.
What does this mean?
The winner of the final will go to the next round where other 3 singers will compete.
These singers have been determined and they will be 2 female and 1 male artist(s). |
