Since there are only Basketball, Football and Hockey events in the world of Fantasia yet, I wanted to start a new sport event and it happened to be one of my favourite sports ever, tennis. The first major worldwide tennis championship to be held will be the Vremd Open, in the capital city of Koppan, which will gladly welcome all of the competing athletes and we here in
De Vremdspongeln truly hope that you'll spend the best days of your life here and leave with some great experiences. Below you can read more about how the tournament will work and what it is exactly."The Vremd Open, also called Roland Garros, is a major tennis tournament held over two weeks between late June and early August at the Stade Roland-Garros in Koppan, De Vremdspongeln. Named after the Vremd aviator Roland Garros, it is the first ever clay court tennis championship event in Fantasia. Roland Garros is currently the only major open held on clay, and it is the zenith of the spring clay court season. Because of the seven rounds needed for a championship, the slow-playing surface and the best-of-five-set men's singles matches (without a tiebreak in the final set), the event is widely considered to be the most physically demanding tennis tournament."

The Men's and the Women's Singles will start from a 32 players bracket, which will be shortened day by day until we'll find out the winner.
The Mixed Doubles category will start from a 16 teams bracket, and at the Final we'll find out which tennis team is the best in Fantasia.
The championship is going to be organised by the Fantasian Tennis Federation, known as FTF, which has 3 members so far,
De Vremdspongeln, 
Lidonia and 
Aquia. If you'd like your country to be in the Federation, send us your application in the comments below. 3 more countries can join the Committee, and the decision will be exclusively made by the Federation.If you wish to participate in the tournament, you have to submit your tennis players below in the comments. For a correct application, you 're obliged to submit 2 men and 2 women who will play individually, and 1 mixed team who will play in the Doubles category (remember that the player names should be fictional).
