** IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ** A few months ago we have announced that there will be a change in the HoD of  Serbia.
After many years as HoD of Serbia, the time has come for me to leave this amazing contest.
You guys are doing a great job with this contest, and year after year is becoming increasingly popular and followed and I hope it will continue to evolve more. I'm happy to have been part of it and I will follow you as a spectator; as said, now is the time for someone else to come at my place.
And finally I would like to thank all the people who supported me along with Serbia until now, giving me first of all many joys and even small disappointments, but that's part of the contest.

TURKEY CONFIRMS ITS PRESENCE!
This evening the broadcaster Türkiye Radyo ve Televizyon Kurumu confirmed that the country will be taking part in the 31st edition of the North Vision Song Contest in  Norway.
THE SELECTION
The turkish entry will be selected via the show Turkish Popstar, which will mark its 20th edition. Eight songs will compete : six of them will take part in two different battles , while two of them have already been selected internally to compete in the final show. The winners of the battles will join them.

  Germany REVEALS their artist!Cologne, 22nd January: At a press conference this afternoon WDR confirmed the participation of  Germany in the upcoming edition in  Norway. This announcement is certainly not a surprise to anybody, as the country got a fantastic 2nd place with Kim Petras last edition and is automatically qualified to the final for this edition. Germany is the last AQed country to confirm its participation, as the broadcaster was considering its plan for the selection process and waited to confirm the participation until said plan was in place. Even though another national selection will be held, the artist was already selected internally: We're proud to announce that our next representative is Balbina! Balbina is a  German-Polish singer who was born in Warsaw in 1983. When she was three years old, she and her family moved to  Berlin where she has lived ever since. German NVSC fans have wanted her to represent the country ever since the new HoD took over, who has hinted that in case of an AQ, Balbina would be a likely candidate to represent Germany. She has been releasing music since the early 2010s and her fourth album, "Punkt.", came out roughly two weeks ago. Her national selection will consist of songs from that album as well as some of her older work and is expected to kick off in the next weeks. Stay tuned!  |

 DNS 28 ACTS REVEALED! Oslo, Norway • 23 January 2020 After the succesful last DNS edition that brought a NVSC winner, NRK still counts on it in order to select the so-called "host entry". The format will return to the usual one with 10 songs participating, as the broadcaster wants to focus more on the hosting of a spectacular Northvision edition.

 Poland confirms participation in NVSC #31 !After qualifyin from PQR and not qualifying to the final in 30th edition, Poland decided to keep up the participation in NVSC #31. National selection Polish Top Of The Top will decide who will represent us in Norway. We are currently searching for the acts that are going to compete in the selection.
