 Montenegro confirms participation – Head of Delegation Changes Tuesday, 28 January 2020 • 13:40 Earlier today, the Balkan nation of Montenegro officially confirmed their participation in the upcoming 31st edition of the North Vision Song Contest held in Norway. After many speculations surrounding the change of the head of delegation, the national broadcaster assembled a press conference to finally reveal the truth about the resigning head of delegation. New head of delegation to be appointed! After four editions of success achieved by the previous head of delegation Alexander Hakšabanović, the Montenegrin broadcaster RTCG has been searching for their next candidate to continue their journey in one of the biggest international music events. The reason of the resignment of the head of delegation was due to an uncertain chronic heart condition, which left no choice but to make him unable to keep being a delegate of the country. The press conference didn't end there though, as the head of the broadcaster also revealed that they have found Alexander's successor, namely Andro Samardžić! An unknown name to the Montenegrin public, but being the assistant of Alexander throughout his career of Head of Delegation in North Vision, he was more than ready to accept the position. After the conference came to an end, he was approached by the press, and has stated the following: "I am so excited and proud to be the new Head of Delegation of Montenegro and we are doing as much as we can to find Senidah's successor after an impressive result last edition - at least for our standards. I can't reveal any other clues about our representative yet, but you'll know who they are in short time. BELGIUM CONFIRMS!
Brussels, 1 February 2020
Belgium's participation in the thirty-first North Vision Song Contest has just been officially confirmed. This information stands in the opposition to speculations that the country has been planning to withdraw from the contest due to unsatisfactory results in recent editions.
Despite a string of critical successes, the previous Belgian Head of Delegation quit the job on public television. The news was announced through broadcaster's official Twitter account, where they paid tribute to Jentine's work since 2014.
The new Head of Delegation for Belgium has been announced today br VRT. His main goal will be to revitalise country's place in the contest and turning it into a genuine contender for another victory after four years.
 What is coming up for the contest is a continuation of all the work done in recent years. I am incredibly happy and proud to take over the role of the Belgian Head of Delegation. It definitely is a big responsibility for myself but I can assure you that Belgium is in safe hands. I am absolutely looking forward to begin my North Vision journey and present you all our great music industry!  Belgium's plans for the forthcoming edition of the North Vision Song Contest have not been specifically confirmed at this stage. However, the broadcaster is said to be considering an internal selection of their entry for Norway as has been the case in recent editions. More information and details regarding the Belgian project are expected to be released in due course.

THE LEBANESE ENTRY
BEIRUT, 01 FEBRUARY 2020.
Today is the day, the day of today will be the day, which has been the day choosen by the Lebanese broadcaster to reveal the Lebanese entry
for the 31st edition of the North Vision Song Contest. A different move after 3 entries sung in English has been taken, as for the first time
in the history of Lebanon in the contest, the entry has no lyrics. A majestic piece of instrumental reflecting and representing Lebanon.
Let me present you Salma, by Hanine:

Hanine El Alam, also known as her stage name Hanine, is a Lebanese violonist, known into the Arab World and the Middle East,

to translate them into transcontinental tunes, and which gave her the possiblity to be surrounded by cultures into art brought her closer to her own public.

SLOVENIA CONFIRMS PARTICIPATION
After a fantastic top 10 finish with Gaja Prestor and "Najino nebo", RTVSLO can reveal that Slovenia will continue their participation into the 31st edition.
The act and song will once again be selected via an internal selection, and will be revealed in due time.

 Czech Republic confirms its participation at the 31st North Vision Song Contest!
The Czech Head of Delegation, Julius Horváth organised a press conference at the ČT headquarters in  Prague, where the delegation announced its decision on the country's participation. This is what the HoD said:
Czech NVSC fans have been really vocal about the special twist on the social medias. Most of the reactions were positive, but there have also been some negative comments on the matter, saying that you 'shouldn't fix what isn't broken".
Although the HoD did not reveal anything else about the selecting process, the channel stated that more light will be shed on the topic in the coming days.

Anna Vissi, the 63 year old Cypriot singer who is having a big career in Greece since the 80s accepted the offer of CyBc and will be entering the event. Her song was internally selected from her newest album Iliotropia (Sunflowers). Our entry is the first one in Greek we've sent since 19th edition. Let us present you "Fleyomenos Trohos" (Burning Wheel) by the one and only Anna Vissi. We wish her best of luck.
